Hi, Tini!! I'm a Catwoman's fan and I'm really enjoying your run. Could you answer a question, please? You wrote a few weeks ago that Batcat would be fighting and kissing. So there will be a kiss in the last issue of Gotham War? Or any batcat moment?? That's my last hope since she will leave Gotham (I have SO many questions about this too).
This is funny, but - it was in #58! I think perhaps the misunderstanding is a matter of how comics are made. "Closure" is a concept that speaks to what we imagine happening between panels: if we see Catwoman pull her fist back and then a goon on the ground, our brain 'fills in' that she punched him, even if we don't see a panel of Fist-connecting-with-goon.
They're making out for a good little while in that laundry basket in #58. Originally they were doing a lot more but it was pointed out to me that having them go at it while an active fire was happening was maybe not a good look, so I edited it. So while there is no actual panel of them with their lips locked, just their lips very close together a few times - you can be assured that their conversation in the laundry basket takes place before, during, and after a whole lot of deep wet kisses. And probably kissed a little more while she was at his house later.
There are always going to continue to be Batcat moments no matter where Selina is. He's in her heart, always on her mind.
So we just have to imagine BatCat moments on our own, since they're forcing you to take them out? I don't need to follow a comic book to do that. That's terrible marketing on their part. Why read the comics at all if I'm just supposed to make up my own story in my head?
That isn't...at all what I said. Read it again. These kinds of bad faith readings of my comments are why I almost never these kinds of questions from fans!
You are right, she hates her dad and wouldnt ordinarily work with him! That weird little chestnut is part of the story. We are an ongoing comic and will have mysteries from Gotham War that continue in Catwoman. All I can say is that I love Knockout and Liana, they aren't gone or forgotten, they just aren't with her on this mission for reasons that feel obvious to me....cause you're absolutely right, she hates her dad! Seems weird to work with him! Your feeling that she doesn't like this much and isn't bringing her wives around her dad is right on the money.

You advertised a kiss. Why couldn't the kiss be shown elsewhere? Like at Bruce's house? Why did it have to be taken out completely?
