I live in Nottingham but when I'm in London I do enjoy Soho, for the pubs & bars, plus Gosh! Comics, Algerian Coffee Stores, the record shops, Carnaby St etc.
Some of the markets e.g. Borough Market, Camden Lock/Stables, Old Spitalfields - are fantastic for foodies & in areas of central London that are imo quite distinct from one another
