I used to read a bunch of books too during my first years of college but now that I'm about to finish is like I don't have the energy to concentrate too long. Also, I'm so envious that you're fully vaccinated, here in Mexico the process is taking forever. I'll be lucky if I get my first shot in October.

And I'm so excited for the Hellfire Gala, that and knowing the Cerebro podcast (I just listened to the Monet episode and LOVE IT. I hope you return to talk about more characters soon) is going to be talking about LGBTQ characters next month are what make me look forward to June. I'm ready for some drama as you all have promised the gala will have, mixed with high fashion and sexy people. Can't wait!!

Oh gosh, college is SO much reading - I didn't read for fun then, either! I bet when you're done studying you don't feel like doing much reading and that's just fine. I hope the Hellfire Gala keeps you well and happy til your vaccine comes through!

I am also a former only child-slash-older brother to half-siblings who grew up to be a creator. I recently wrote an episode of kids' TV about wanting alone time, even when everyone else is playing. I think it was valuable to learn to be alone, and now that I find myself at home with my young family, I still long for that time. I would also love one of those codes, if there are any left.

That's great - a lot of adults and kids feel super guilty about alone time and it's really valuable to learn about how normal and healthy it is. Good on you for sharing that with the little ones!

Here's your code, thanks for stopping by! : 5ZKB2CGAUVON (or perhaps 0 if the O doesn't work.)

Thanks very much Tini. I am also halfway through the X of Swords HC and the stuff you and the team are doing is next level. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Hi, I picked up X-Corp because I've loved what you're doing with Excalibur- I really enjoyed it, so looked forward to see where it and St Croix and Angel go! Great work as ever x

I'm that kid who did so much reading - comics, sci-fi, physics and astronomy... - and now i get distracted by EVERYTHING... to the point it sometimes takes me three days to finish an issue of anything. My backlog of books and comics is... shameful and daunting. I need a few more days in my days.

May i request one of those X-CORP codes? I'm freshly out of a job and having to be super-picky about.... anything i buy right now so i've not yet read it. (Though the Gala is a priority: i have the money set aside, hah.)

It worked! Technically. Unfortunately it redeemed Excalibur #20 instead. Great issue, though! XD And thanks.

Been going through something like this. Struggling with finding the time to work on stuff, amongst other life things and trying to tell myself to have fun, watch movies, read books without making it seem like an assignment of adding more knowledge into story telling and what not, because I feel like I can't enjoy things unless it contributes to what I want to do.

Thanks for the tips!!!

X-Corp is fun, and i'm excited to see what comes next, and even if I don't get the free code I look forward to reading more of it.

Hey thanks! Did you get to read issue 1? If not, I'd be happy to give you a code.

I did manage to read it, but it was because I visited a friend who had picked it up (my local town RN doesn't have a comic shop). I'd love to have a code as I do go back and reread earlier issues (I plan on moving in August so I can resume comic purchases)
