Mea culpa for not posting - you may not have seen me here, but you may have seen me lately-
My Jeopardy episode aired April 17th! Did I win? Well, I won’t spoil it, but I went up against Good-Hearted Trivia-Monster Jamie Ding, who you may have heard about if you follow Jeopardy at all. But I had an amazing time - the peak of which was finding out Ken Jennings is a for-real Wednesday Warrior comics fan.
We all have a bucket list, right? Personally, I’ve never really felt the urge to leap out of a plane, I don’t have the tech-bro madness that drives people to climb Everest, and I don’t have the liquidity for fabulous international travel at the moment. But a drive down the highway to Burbank…that I could manage.
But it wasn’t entirely up to me. Competing on Jeopardy, as you might imagine, is on the bucket list of a lot of people. So I started where everyone starts - the Jeopardy Anytime Test. That’s a real link and it’ll work for you, too - everyone that gets onto the main show starts the same way, right there.
It took time - I had to take the test for a few years in a row before I was called to the other stages of audition, and that’s extremely common. I know people have a ton of questions about my experience on Jeopardy, and I thought the best way to address them all is to answer your questions in a video. If you have any questions, go ahead and comment them below - I’m shooting very shortly so be quick if you want them answered!
MEGACON and WONDERCON
Wonderful seeing you all there! My first Megacon was a rousing success. I got to spend time with new friends and old, and was so impressed with some of what the con set up for fans. There were some incredible photo ops from local organizations like the 501st, scavenger hunts, and even a cosplay exhibit area full of mannequins displaying some truly gorgeous work. I’m always a big fan when cons have lots of free stuff to enjoy for folks that have already paid the oft-expensive ticket prices at times like these.
Wondercon 2026 was one of the craziest cons of my life. With the con choosing to feature Babs Tarr’s incredible art from our current book Sirens: Love Hurts as the official convention art, we were pretty busy all weekend. We sold out of all of our copies of #1 by Saturday PM and had the best time with fans, friends, and cosplayers in line. Babs and I had a blast doing panels - one with DC and one with some of our favorite creator pals.

SIRENS: LOVE HURTS #4
Out May 20th (bumped a week from it’s original 5/13 but now at the printer), this is the conclusion to SIRENS: LOVE HURTS, our Black Label experiment where we put the focus on women’s friendships and relationships in Gotham City while on the trail of a horoscope-obsessed serial killer. If the soft pitch “Sex and the City meets The Long Halloween” works for you - check it out, our first issue just released a second printing!
WHERE’S MARIAN?
The MARIAN HERETIC vol 1 TPB releases on July 28th, but I am hoping we’ll have a few early at SDCC this year! No promises, but I’d love to have a stack of early ones for the folks who come to see me at the con. Make sure you let your local retailer know if you want one - comic shelf space is limited and there are lots of great books out there! Retailers need to know a book has fans if it’s gonna take up shelf space.
Additionally, as you may have heard, MARIAN HERETIC WILL RETURN IN AVENGERS DOOMSDAY HELLO DARKNESS #25. It’ll be a few months before it’s in solicits, but I keep getting questions on Marian’s future, and it’s bright like her soul. ❤︎
