Love to see the lamb, but disappointed you weren't wearing it at the parties.

Feelin' a little sheepish about it now!

If you have no fans of your art, I am dead. It's beautiful and moving and intricate and all around cool, which is how you know it's art.

It’s very cool! And you’re completely right about crafting. My mum, who was an amazing baker and seamstress, didn’t take her own clothing designs seriously ’till she did a fashion course her seventies, and had her designs paraded to acclaim on the catwalk. Though my fav is still the costume she made for my school play turn when I was nine, out of the sitting room curtains.

Oh I love this story. What was the costume of? Do you have pics?

I was a singing drunk in a nativity play (that the teacher wrote). Wearing a corduroy orange baggy dress affair, with super baggy sleeves. Alas, no photos, though I do remember some of the lyrics, 42 years later.

I used to play guitar/sing in bands and now play a little piano. That's my secret craft!

Ooh, you should share yourself playing a favorite song!

I've always envied people with the ability to craft. I fail epically at anything that could remotely be termed "hands on".

I encourage this! Failing is the first step to being kinda good at something, says the philosopher Jake the Dog.

Oh, I wouldn’t mind failing if I was actually interested in it—that’s what I have writing for! But my brother inherited all the hands-on ability in my generation, and I’m okay with that.
