Greetings, guests of The Scorpio Room. It’s been a busy year for me, and since I left Twitter in 2021, I need to be better about letting you all know what I have coming out! So welcome to a weekly template I’m gonna use to do that, so no matter what, each week, I can get a blast out to you with release dates and promo.
Looking for what I’ve got coming out next? This is where that’ll be, at the top. We can get it out of the way at the top every week and I can shoot out a few social updates after that every week. I'll even include a picture! How about that? That sound good?
Below, there are links you can use to order or pre-order my work from various shops.
8.15 - TALES OF THE TITANS: RAVEN - Thrilled to be doing one of these one shots. I’m a classic New Teen Titans superfan so getting to do a book like this that’s a bit of an homage to one of the holy texts feels too good to be true. Can’t wait for the Titans’ new era!
8.29 - BATMAN/CATWOMAN: THE GOTHAM WAR - BATTLE LINES - The first part of GOTHAM WAR starts here!
9.5 - BATMAN #137
9.19 - CATWOMAN #57
9.26 - BATMAN/CATWOMAN: THE GOTHAM WAR - RED HOOD #1

How’s that for comprehensive? With all that done I have to get back to one of my secret projects now, but I feel much better knowing I can get something substantive out every week with this format. Here’s what I’ve been enjoying, I think you might enjoy it too:
OUT AND ABOUT IN L.A: I love Wednesday’s Party, the weekly goth night at famous LA drinking-and-filming spot, Boardners. They host the far louder and more crowded Bar Sinister on Saturdays, but I prefer the Wednesday night vibe and music. Last night they played both ‘Nemesis’ by Shriekback and ‘So Alive’ by Love and Rockets, so I was indeed throwing ass at the function.
Also, it’s the filming location for Club Haunted House from season 3 of I Think You Should Leave, so.
READING: My pal Ryan Cady hooked me up with his copy of Between Two Fires and I’ve been reading a chapter here or there in between travel and deadlines. It’s rad. I love dirty greasy grimy weird medieval fantasy.
WATCHING: Old episodes of Ink Master are my comfort show, it’s something of a joke amongst my friends. But I love creative competition shows as background noise when I’m drawing, loosely plotting, or doing emails. A bunch of people having to competitively draw tattoos, design garments, respond to drag challenges or blow glass always gets my creativity running. Open to suggestions, what are your favorites?
MAKES ME THINK: I truly enjoyed the Barbie movie, but also truly enjoyed picking apart its philosophical points while acknowledging that it is an incredibly high-budget toy commercial. If you agree, Natalie Wynn’s latest Patreon “Tangent!” is a 40 minute Barbie discussion that she describes as “mid” but I’ve watched three times. Check it out.
ARTIST I’M DIGGING: If you don’t already know Fyodor Pavlov, you might just be about to have the best day ever (provided you’re not reading this at work.) A true libertine of an artist, his work is beautiful, sumptuous, and unapologetically queer and sexual. Everything he does is a thrilling look into the titillating and telling.
That was fun, let’s do it again next week?
Stay weird, talk soon -

So excited for your take on Raven!
