PHENOMENOCITY: The PLAYLIST

I’ve made no secret of how much I love listening to music when I write. More than that - often, the first glimmers of a story that come to me are visuals set to music, something almost like a music video. Sometimes I know the song is right before I have the visuals in mind, before theme or voice or character or anything else. If I feel uncreative, or think I have no ideas for something, the right music can usually fix that.

Folks love to ask about my writing playlists, and I love to share them. Some of you asked specifically to see the playlist for Phenomenocity, and I’m happy to share! But more than that, I’ll pull out a couple of my choices and talk about why I chose them, in as spoiler-free a way as possible.
