A peek into process with the great Phillip Sevy

Tini here. Today you’re in for a real treat, as I hand the keys over to Phillip and let him walk you all through some of his incredible work so far on PHENOMENOCITY. I’ll say no more, and get to the good part. Take it away, tiger.

Hey there! It’s Phillip. It’s launch day plus about 46 minutes and Tini and I are just stunned at the response and subscribers already. We’re super incredibly grateful for everyone taking the time to read our book and come along with us on this journey. 

One of the aspects of the Substack community that I love is the peek behind the curtain of production - the ideas, sketches, designs, execution of a story. Working in comics, this is the life I live for each of my projects, but you rarely get to see how other creators do it. Substack has been great for this (if you’re not already following 3W3M, then go there immediately!).

I’m going to put together a post like this for each week of content we post. Tini and I have been crafting this world since last year, so we have a lot to share. 

So let’s start with page 1! There are a lot of elements to Phenomenocity (the least of which is making sure I spell it right every time), but, upfront, we needed to both ground you in the world, and help you understand the significance of the Phenomenon. Everything comes from that moment, and what better place to start than a glimpse of when it appeared and changed the world.
